- Where do you source your records from?
We source them from all over! We dig mostly in the tristate area (NJ/NY/PA), looking for a wide range of genres, but we specialize in funk/soul, soft rock, and R&B (our personal faves). Our records come from our personal collection, estate sales, or buying from other sellers.
- What is your process for preparing records to be sold?
Because we mostly sell used records, we clean each one and quality assess them, both visually and sonically. We re-sleeve them with new plastic inner/outer sleeves to ensure they are well-protected. We price them according to their quality and market value, label them with all their important info, and store them right side up until they are ready to be added to the new arrivals!
- How do you price your records?
We determine media quality by inspecting visually for any scratches, scruffs, fingerprints, or markings, and then listen to the record to determine sonic quality - if there are any skips/pops, the level of surface noise, distortion, etc. We also inspect the album art quality, as used records will often have dings, stickers, water damage, folds, splits, or discoloration, and we check to see if the original materials are included, like lyrical inner sleeves or posters.
- What is the meaning of the letters listed under media quality
M: Mint (100% new)
NM: Near Mint (plays perfectly, but opened)
NM-: Near Mint Minus (plays perfectly or almost perfectly, but may have visual scratches that don’t interfere with playback)
VG+: Very Good Plus (plays well, some slight crackles/pops may be audible)
VG: Very Good (plays well, surface noise/crackles may be more audible)
G+: Good Plus (acceptable play, but relatively high surface noise)
G: Good (acceptable play, but higher surface noise)

- How often do you restock?
We restock once a week! Check in with our Instagram to see sneak-peeks and when restocks drop.
- I’m looking for a particular record - can you help me find it?
We love digging, that’s where we have the most fun! Let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll keep an eye out. If we are able to source it, we will reach out to you!
- I have records that I don’t know what to do with - will you buy them from me?
We’d love to take a look through what you have and negotiate a fair price to take them off your hands! Contact us directly and we can arrange something!
